Linda manages the Longitudes Group call center and a team of sports retail researchers who focus on the collection, synthesis and timely gathering of high quality data. Through annual contact with tens of thousands of golf courses, health clubs and sports specialty retailers, Linda’s team maintains and manages data reflecting the ever-changing sports marketplace.
As a former professional golfer and coach, Linda learned to teach in Austin under the guidance of golf guru, Harvey Penick. Her favorite advice from Harvey was, “If you have limited time, I’d rather see you go play some holes not bang balls on the range.”
Linda developed an expertise in travel as a travel consultant for the LPGA and conducted the assessment on Scottish golf courses for Looking Glass Technologies in their development of a computer game called ‘British Open Golf’. She then founded and co-owned Distinctive Concepts, an imprinted sportswear business featured at travel and vacation destinations.
Her background in sports, travel, retail, and national distribution makes her ideal for her duties with Longitudes Group. Linda graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Business.
